At DKL we have been doing the important job of making an electrical resistant bush for a company overseas. We have been making this part for 20+ years.
What makes the part so important? A few things.
Firstly, the material used must be specifically formulated by our in-house technologist, Neil.
Neil has been in the rubber industry for 50+ years, what Neil doesn’t know about Rubber doesn’t need to be known. He spoke with our customer and developed the rubber needed to meet their special requirements.
The material developed meets the national grids specification of 1-20 mega ohm. Which is essential when producing this part otherwise we wouldn’t be able to use it. To ensure it meets the tolerances required for the resistant we do in house testing which can only be done by our production manager, Pete. The material will not be used for any other part nor will you find this material anywhere else
Secondly, we specifically train members of our team to be able to manufacture this part. We do this ensure the part is consistently produced to a high standard to meet the customer’s needs.
Thirdly, we export this part overseas, outside of Europe. Which involves communicating with logistic companies and ensuring we meet the deadlines expected of our customers so that dispatching isn’t held up.
